At the Faculty of Theology of the University of Bern, students from diverse religious and ideological backgrounds have the opportunity to develop a well-founded academic understanding of the various aspects of Judaism, Christianity, and other religions through interdenominational and interreligious dialogue. Teaching and research at the Faculty focus on Old Catholic and Protestant theology, Jewish studies, and interreligious studies. A strong practical orientation is an integral part of the Faculty’s contemporary and critical profile.
