Studying ERG PH Bern

Information on subject-specific academic studies at the Faculty of Theology, University of Bern, as part of the PHBern Secondary Level I teacher training program in the subject area “Ethics, Religions, and Community” (ERG)

Course and Examination Registration

You must register for both the course and the examination (please be sure to observe the respective deadlines listed in KSL). Further details are provided in the course descriptions. 

Graded Assessment

The results of graded assessments (oral and written examinations, written assignments, etc.) must be a passing grade (minimum grade 4.0). If a grade is insufficient, the assessment may be retaken once (Art. 35 RSL05 CETheol). If the second attempt is also insufficient, a change of subject area is required. 

Elective Specialization

At the Master's level, you will attend one course in the elective area. A list of suitable courses is compiled for this purpose each semester.
